They can be seen from quite a distance. If you need large identification numbers or letters on trucks, barns, or other large sturctures, these are ideal for those purposes. Bernard large size alphanumerics have a self-adhesive back, ideal for placement before sewing onto sails. Other surfaces require additional adhesive. The photo gives an idea of the size. They are seen here next to a standard license plate. 5 REGISTRATION PLATES AND LABELS We offer five registration number backings—three hard plastic plates and two labels of pressure-sensitive vinyl-mylar. • Bernard 3" pressure-sensitive letters and numbers can be applied to either style plate before the plates are secured to the hull. • Hard plastic plates are attached to wood hulls with screws and can easily be removed at refinishing time. • The hard plastic plates are also excellent for use on inflatable boats by tying them to hand lines. • Pressure-sensitive labels are for non-porous surfaces. • Lettering sold separately. • Order by catalog number.
